Olive Tree

When the Olives fall

An old gnarled olive tree stands in the north of the property. It forms the fortress rock of Exombourgo and the mountain villages behind the behind a protective stone wall, it forms an expressive panorama at the back of the house. Situated on the flat plain, the house opens up to the view with four interlocking cubes open up to the view over the amphitheatrical terraced garden over the city, terraced garden across the city to the expanse of the sea. Life unfolds here between these powerful panoramas. A cube has been added to this house as a possible guest or work area, a terrace lower down, protected on the sides by an impressive cliff.
